Position: Accounting Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site · Probationary (6 months) leading to Regular upon meeting regularization standards

Work Location: ZAPS Solutions Inc. office, Mandaluyong City

Reports to: Finance Head / General Manager

What You'll Do

• Supervise daily accounting operations — bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end closing
• Review and ensure the accuracy of financial records, reports, and reconciliations
• Prepare and monitor tax and government filings (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) to keep the company compliant and penalty-free
• Oversee payroll processing, disbursements, and liquidation of cash advances and revolving funds
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses; flag discrepancies and recommend improvements
• Guide, review, and support junior accounting staff to keep work accurate and on schedule
• Assist during audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies
• Help strengthen internal controls and accounting processes across the department

What You Need (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to supervisory or lead tasks
• Solid knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR/statutory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
• Background in a service, field-operations, or SME environment

Compensation & Benefits
