Job summary

ZAPS Solutions Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate records, and drive timely financial reporting from Mandaluyong office. You will lead a small team, enforce internal controls, and coordinate with auditors and regulators.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting, at least 3 years of supervisory accounting experience, and strong knowledge of Philippine standards. CPA is a plus; familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero or SAP is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR/statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for leadership decision-making.
• Oversee tax compliance and government filings (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Manage payroll processing, disbursements, and liquidation of cash advances and revolving funds.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses; flag variances and recommend cost controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, BIR, and other regulatory agencies as needed.
• Supervise, guide, and develop accounting staff to build a reliable, efficient team.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements across the department.

What You'll Do

What You Need (Required)

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

• Background in a service, field-operations, or SME environment

Compensation & Benefits

• ₱25,000 – ₱30,000/month, based on experience and qualifications
