About the role

The company is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our Accounting team on a full-time basis. This is an urgent recruitment drive for a role that plays a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. As an Accounting Staff member, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities

• Recording and entering financial transactions into the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers on a regular basis
• Preparing and processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaising with internal departments and external vendors regarding accounting matters and discrepancies
• Assisting with tax compliance and ensuring timely submission of required financial documentation
• Contributing to continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and general ledger operations
• Previous experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting role is preferred
• Familiarity with the food industry would be advantageous.
