Job summary

Tyco Inc. is seeking a reliable Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, financial records, tax compliance, and management reports. The role works with management to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy and 2–3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of Philippine taxation. CPA is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in accounting or related field with strong numerical skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and tax compliance required.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, cash, sales, inventory, and other account reconciliations.
• Monitor company expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, costing, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and ensure timely filing of BIR tax returns and other government requirements.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks, and government agencies when necessary.
• Help strengthen accounting controls and procedures.
• Provide management with accurate financial information for decision-making.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Knowledgeable in Philippine taxation and BIR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with inventory and product costing is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
