Job summary

OCW Medical Clinic Inc. is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our finance team in a full-time role based in Paco, Manila City.

You will handle the recording and processing of financial transactions, reconciliations, and payroll activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field (diploma, degree or professional accounting qualification such as ACPA or similar)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and regulations is highly desirable
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with accounting standards

Responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconciling bank statements, cash accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances and other financial reports
• Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports in a timely manner
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assisting with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhering to data protection protocols
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Supporting the preparation of documentation for external audits and regulatory compliance requirements
