OCW Medical Clinic Inc. is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our finance team on a full-time basis. Based in Paco, Manila City, this role is central to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting. As Accounting Staff, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting our financial operations, and contributing to the overall financial health of our medical clinic. Key responsibilities
Recording and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Reconciling bank statements, cash accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances and other financial reports
Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports in a timely manner
Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
Assisting with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhering to data protection protocols
Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting
Supporting the preparation of documentation for external audits and regulatory compliance requirements
What we're looking for
Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (diploma, degree or professional accounting qualification such as ACPA or similar)
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting standards
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and regulations is highly desirable
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with accounting standards
