Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring an Accounting Specialist to join our onsite team in Manila. You will record, verify, and report financial transactions following company policies, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across GL accounts and asset registers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform month-end closings, depreciation schedules, and asset disposals. Prior experience with NetSuite and related ERP tools is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting and audit functions.
• Strong foundational knowledge of financial management and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Record, prepare, verify, and report financial transactions per policies.
• Analyze and reconcile GL accounts to identify key accounts and detect risks.
• Process monthly depreciation, amortization, and fixed asset registrations.
• Manage asset disposal within NetSuite and prepare month-end closing reports.
• Prepare ad-hoc accounting reports and respond to cross-functional inquiries.
• Supervise day-to-day tasks of associates and specialists to maximize performance.
• Serve as primary contact for software processes in NetSuite, Blackline, or related platforms.
