Job summary

South Sky Dragon Wellness Corp. in Laguna, Philippines, seeks an Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable to manage payables, ensure timely payments, reconcile vendor accounts, and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field, 1–3 years in AP or general accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience, and a proven eye for detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Experience in ecommerce, retail, logistics, or trading is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, logistics, or trading industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, billing statements, and payment requests accurately and on time.
• Prepare and process accounts payable transactions, including check vouchers, bank transfers, and online payments.
• Monitor due dates and ensure timely payment to suppliers and service providers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and supporting documents.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports related to payables.
• Monitor advances, reimbursements, and liquidation of expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments regarding invoice matching and payment concerns.
• Assist during audits by providing necessary documents and schedules.
• Support other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
