Job summary

Swak BPO Corp., a fast-growing BPO center in Clark Freeport Zone, seeks an Accounting Representative (Moderate Level) to join our finance team. The role covers reconciliations, AR processing, and tax deadlines guidance within a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate holds a BBA/B.S. in Accounting or Finance, is proficient in US GAAP and advanced Excel, and has 2+ years of accounting experience. On-site work in Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Understanding of US GAAP is required.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• 2+ years of experience in a professional Accounting/Finance role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bank reconciliations and other reconciliation activities.
• Record and process accounts receivable and related tasks.
• Meet financial and tax deadlines; ensure accuracy of records.
• Handle general recording, tracking, and classification tasks as assigned.
• Understand Balance Sheet items and allocate transactions to assets, liabilities, or equity.
• Understand P&L items and properly categorize revenue and expenses.
• Identify discrepancies in reports and report to supervisor.
• Perform non-cash and year-end adjusting journal entries.
• Understand payroll procedures and processing basics.
• Maintain confidential and non-confidential company documents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliation and other reconciliation activities
• Accounts receivable, recording and processing
• Knowledge of and ability to meet financial and tax deadlines
• Other recording, tracking, and classification work as needed on a per-task basis
• Understanding of Balance Sheet Items (otherwise known as Statement of Financial Position: account types and categorization, properly allocating applicable transactions to assets, liabilities or equity sections)
• Understanding of P&L statement items
• Proper categorization of revenue and expenses
• Identify and report to the supervisor if discrepancies or issues are visible on the above reports
• Non-cash and end-of-year Adjusting Journal Entry work
• General understanding of Payroll procedures and processing
• Maintenance of necessary company documentation (confidential & non-confidential)

Job Requirements:

• B.B.A/B.S or higher degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Understanding of US generally accepted Accounting Principles (required)
• Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Has 2-experience processing in a professional Accounting or Finance related position
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks
• Experience with various accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365-Business Central experience, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zero, or Sage (preferred)
• Amenable to work in Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga.
