Accounting Operations Officer

About the Position
We are looking for an Accounting Operations Officer to support daily accounting and finance activities, including accounts payable, invoicing, financial documentation, petty cash, and coordination with external accounting partners.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and capable of handling financial transactions and records accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and issue sales invoices accurately and on time.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including supplier invoice verification, preparation of Payment Vouchers (PV), and coordination of supplier payments.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the external accounting firm and provide complete accounting records and documentation when required.
- Assist in preparing and organizing documents for bank loan applications, credit facilities, and other financing requirements.
- Coordinate with banks and financing institutions regarding document submissions and follow-ups.
- Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation of disbursements.
- Process and verify employee expense reimbursement claims.
- Conduct petty cash counts and prepare reconciliation reports.
- Provide support for general office administration and daily business operations.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, pantry items, and stationery inventory.
- Perform other accounting, finance, and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping role.
- Direct experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Experience handling sales invoices, supplier invoices, Payment Vouchers, expense reimbursements, petty cash, and financial documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic financial spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of BIR tax compliance, withholding tax, and VAT documentation is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information.
- Highly organized, dependable, discreet, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Willing to work full-time on-site in Pasay City.
