Qualifications

• CPA licensed and eligible to practice in the Philippines.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
• At least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.
• Experience in travel, tourism, airline, or hospitality advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team of about 18 finance personnel.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager (CPA) to oversee the financial operations of a fast-paced travel and tours organization. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in taxation, financial reporting, and operational accounting, preferably from the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team composed of approximately 18 finance personnel
• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Oversee BIR compliance, tax filings, and statutory reportorial requirements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense management
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes to improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and internal departments
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• At least 1 year experience in a managerial role
• Strong background in taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting
• Experience in travel agency, tourism, airline, or hospitality industry is an advantage
