Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee the overall operations of the Finance & Accounting Department. The role is responsible for financial planning, accounting operations, audit coordination, compliance management, budgeting, and financial reporting to support company goals and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Operations
- Manage the overall functions of the Finance & Accounting Department.
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely completion of financial activities.
- Supervise and evaluate accounting staff performance and productivity.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and operating results.
- Monitor monthly financial performance against budget and company targets.
- Recommend benchmarks and strategies to improve financial performance.
Budgeting, Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal and external financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, SEC, DOLE, City Government, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve government reports, permits, taxes, and licenses.
- Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Manage company funds, disbursements, remittances, and supplier payments.
- Monitor cash flow and financial activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Review and verify payroll processing and related financial transactions.
Leadership & Coordination
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding financial concerns and operational requirements.
- Represent the company in meetings with auditors, government agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- CPA license is preferred; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Government Regulations & Taxation
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
