Role Overview:
The Accounting Manager in the Business Process Solutions (BPS) Division oversees all aspects of client engagements within the Accounting Unit, ensuring compliance with Firm and professional standards. Reporting to the Accounting Director, this role is accountable for effective engagement execution, client satisfaction, and the development of high-performing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, scheduling, and risk assessment for client engagements
Oversee bookkeeping and ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Income Tax with BIR. Prepare and review Financial Statements (FS). Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, oversee inventory management, delegate tasks effectively, and manage team performance.
Supervise and review work of staff, monitor time budgets, and ensure quality control
Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
Participate in recruitment, mentoring, and professional development activities
Contribute to business development by identifying engagement leads and supporting marketing initiatives
Oversee administrative functions including billing, collections, resource allocation, and compliance with Firm policies
Ensure proper documentation, confidentiality, and timely completion of all deliverables
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Experience in bookkeeping, PH tax compliance (VAT, WHT, Income Tax with BIR), FS preparation and review, month-end/year-end closing, and inventory management
Experience handling both local and international clients, preferably with experience working in an Auditing Company
Proficient in AI integration, Xero, Quickbooks, and SAP HANA
Strong leadership, task delegation, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Creative, positive attitude, and sound organizational abilities
