Job summary

CLEVR is seeking an Accounting Manager within the Business Process Solutions division in the Philippines to oversee engagements, ensure compliance with firm standards, and report to the Accounting Director.

You will lead planning, tax compliance, FS preparation, month-end closings, staff development, and client relationship management while supporting recruitment and business development.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in bookkeeping, PH tax compliance (VAT, WHT, Income Tax with BIR), FS preparation and review, month-end/year-end closing, and inventory management.
• Experience handling both local and international clients, preferably with experience working in an auditing company.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and risk assessment for client engagements.
• Oversee bookkeeping and ensure compliance with PH tax regulations; prepare and review financial statements; manage month-end and year-end closings.
• Supervise and review staff work, monitor time budgets, and ensure quality control.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Participate in recruitment, mentoring, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to business development by identifying engagement leads and supporting marketing initiatives.
• Oversee administrative functions including billing, collections, resource allocation, and compliance with Firm policies.
• Ensure proper documentation, confidentiality, and timely completion of all deliverables.
