Job summary

Clevr OPC in the Philippines seeks a Finance Manager to lead statutory accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, ERP migration, and team supervision. This role transitions external accounting operations in-house while maintaining strong internal controls across finance functions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, CPA preferred, with at least 10 years in general accounting and 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in General Accounting and Finance; at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, treasury, and compliance.
• Proven people management and leadership experience with ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance.
• Background from FinTech, banking, or audit firms is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transition and fully manage external accounting and tax filing operations; review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax) in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Substantiate BIR audit requirements to mitigate audit exposure risks and handle external audit inquiries.
• Review and approve monthly financial statements; manage month-end and year-end closing operations including accruals, postings, and quarterly Balance Sheet reviews.
• Lead financial data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform and drive CAS module implementation including BIR CAS registration and e-invoicing compliance.
• Supervise day-to-day finance operations including Purchase Orders, reimbursements, and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes, minimizing hanging balances and mitigating operational red flags.
