Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to own account reconciliation and pre-audit clean-up ahead of Q4. You will lead reconciliations, analyze intercompany activity, and implement best practices with cross-functional finance teams to ensure audit readiness.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, ERP experience (NetSuite/QuickBooks Online/Bill.com), and ability to work US hours. CPA preferred with Big 4 exposure, and excellent communication and time-management abilities are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 5+ years of experience
CPA preferred; Big 4 experience a plus
Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com or similar ERP
Strong MS Excel skills with complex formulas and automation
Experience developing financial reports and metrics
Willing to work US hours
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across management levels
Superior attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proven ability to drive projects across an organization
Strong organizational and time management skills
Available to work on GY schedule (9pm PHT onwards)

Responsibilities

Audit preparation and clean-up of historical balance sheet activity for Q4 readiness
Lead preparation, review, and finalization of complex monthly reconciliations
Analyze intercompany transactions and post adjusting journal entries
Collaborate with senior accounting leadership and cross-functional teams for best practices
Investigate and clear backlogs in reconciliations and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and protect data confidentiality
Back up financial data through secure database practices
