Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience (AP/AR, reconciliations, financial statements, payroll).
• Stable employment history and reliability required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly GET returns.
• Update WIP schedules for financial statements and project status.
• Enter and reconcile AP/AR, retainage, payroll liabilities, taxes, and related entries.
• Reconcile bank, credit, LC accounts, and note payables; fix discrepancies.
• Record deposits, prepaid expenses, inventory, fixed assets, depreciation, and investments.
• Reconcile cost in excess of billings and billings in excess of cost.
• Reconcile union liabilities and related records.
• Perform month-end close and ensure balance sheet reconciliation.
• Compile and review final financial packets for accuracy.
