Job summary

UAAGI Auto Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations in Quezon City. You will supervise journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closures while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations.

As a senior member of the finance team, you will mentor staff, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

Role Description:

The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role manages the preparation and review of financial statements, supervises journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities, and monitors fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with finance and operational teams to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. The role also involves leading and mentoring the accounting team, implementing process improvements, supporting audits, and providing management with clear financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management, including reconciliations and closing processes.
• Experience in Fixed Assets accounting, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation management.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and supporting business decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Several years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of Philippine tax regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
