Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts
