The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in accounting leadership, and preferably a CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team supervision and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in line with standards.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff with training and feedback.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for compliance.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Manage accounting systems and ensure data integrity and security.
• Prepare tax returns and timely payments.
• Support financial planning and budgeting processes.
