Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience as an Accountant or in similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
• CPA or ACCA certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with financial reports and management analysis.

About the role

Kachi Foods Marketing Inc is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our finance team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our financial operations and support the company's continued growth. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and analysis for management review
• Supporting the audit process by organising documentation and providing requested financial information
• Monitoring and controlling expenses to ensure compliance with company policies
• Assisting with tax compliance and the preparation of tax-related documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial data across the organisation

What we’re looking for

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial accounting role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous
