About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join BW SUPERBAKESHOP-ELJIN in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing and production equipment. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies that minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency. This role is essential to our continued success in the bakery manufacturing sector, directly impacting production quality, safety standards, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all preventative and corrective maintenance activities across production facilities and equipment

• Manage and supervise the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring and professional development

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise production downtime and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency

• Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential issues before they become critical problems

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation and reports for all equipment and work performed

• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations

• Collaborate with production and operations teams to address maintenance concerns and implement solutions

• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements and prepare recommendations with cost-benefit analyses

• Respond to equipment emergencies and coordinate urgent repairs to restore production capabilities quickly

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management or a senior maintenance technician role within manufacturing or production environments

• Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and supervising technical staff

• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery and maintenance best practices relevant to food manufacturing or bakery production

• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and computerised maintenance management software (CMMS)

• Excellent understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance principles

• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly in high-pressure situations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams

• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in manufacturing

• Technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering, electrical systems or industrial maintenance (preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred)
