Job summary

A freight forwarding entity in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee month-end closings, bank reconciliations, and collaborate with audit firms. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience, ideally in a freight forwarding company, and holds a degree in Accounting or Financial Management. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. The office is located in Paranaque City, easily accessible and safe.

Qualifications

• 10 years and above relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a freight forwarding company is a significant advantage.
• Must have strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end closing, quarterly review, year end closing.
• In charge of bank reconciliation and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with an Audit firm for taxes and audits.
• Guide a small accounting team in Manila.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end closing, quarterly review, year end closing for a freight forwarding entity based in Manila.
• In charge of bank reconciliation, cash flow projections.
• Work with Audit firm in filing taxes, internal and external audit, SEC issues etc.
• Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Controller based in either Bangkok.
• Take charge, and guide a small accounting team here in Manila.
• Other jobs as required by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
• CPA is a plus.
• Worked in a freight forwarding company is a BIG plus.
• 10 years and above experience (lesser but with relevant experience will be considered).

Working Location

Office located at Aseana Avenue (Paranaque City). Nearby landmarks are Redemptorist LRT station, City of Dreams, Ayala Mall Manila Bay, and or Solaire.

Beside the future De La Salle University (Paranaque campus 2027 or 2028 completion) & St. Luke's Medical City (2029 completion).
