Job summary

BrenchemIndustries Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to manage the general ledger, supervise accounting staff, and handle logistics-specific financial management, freight forwarding costs, and port disbursements. The role ensures internal controls and statutory compliance with Philippine tax laws (BIR, Customs where applicable).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance is required; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years in general accounting with 1–2 years in supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine BIR tax regulations and freight billing mechanics.
• Experience with cost accounting and ERP/accounting software.
• Preference for candidates residing in or near Quezon City for commute convenience.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Operations & Revenue Accounting: manage revenue and logistics cost reporting.
• Financial Reporting & General Ledger Oversight: ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: supervise cycle and controls.
• Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting (Philippine Focus): ensure adherence to local laws.
• Team Leadership & Internal Controls: lead team and enforce controls.

Job description

The role shall manage general ledger and supervisory duties alongside specialized accounting requirements for logistics-specific operational financial management, freight forwarding and disbursement accounts, customs clearing costs/clearance, and port disbursements, enforces internal financial controls, and maintains statutory compliance with Philippine tax laws (BIR, Customs where applicable)

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine BIR tax regulations, freight billing mechanics, cost accounting, and ERP/accounting software

Preference: Candidates currently residing in Quezon City or nearby areas for ease of daily commute
