Job summary

Ultraclean Industrial Laundry Systems Inc. in Cebu, Philippines, is looking for an Accounting & Finance Supervisor to lead the team, ensure accurate financial data and reporting, and manage cash flow. The role requires strong accounting background and leadership to drive month-end close and financial controls.

You will coordinate with department heads on budgeting and compliance, supervise tax filings, and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of accuracy and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in general accounting, taxation, and treasury.
• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Background in SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash position, cash flow, collections, and disbursements.
• Review payable transactions and ensure proper documentation, authorization, and approval.
• Monitor aged accounts payable and receivable and recommend actions.
• Oversee bank transactions, petty cash, and revenue-cycle controls.
• Lead general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial reports and analyze balances and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with department heads in preparing the annual budget.
• Monitor budget-versus-actual performance and provide financial analysis.
• Oversee withholding tax, VAT, income tax filings and other requirements.
• Manage renewal of business permits and maintain compliance calendar.
• Supervise, guide, train, and evaluate the Accounting & Finance team.
• Review outputs for accuracy and compliance with policies and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, effective financial reporting, proper cash flow management, and compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities
