Job summary

Harbest Agribusiness Corporation in Metro Manila seeks a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. The role manages cash flow and provides financial analysis to support decisions.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance, coordinating with auditors, banks, and tax consultants while mentoring the Finance & Accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 7 years of accounting/finance experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and accounting/ERP systems; NetSuite is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
• Review financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and accounting records for accuracy.
• Manage cash flow, bank transactions, collections, and company disbursements.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Oversee BIR, SEC, LGU, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial partners.
• Establish and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify financial discrepancies, risks, and process improvements.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the Finance & Accounting team.
• Provide management with financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
