Ascentium Company in Metro Manila seeks a competent Accounting Associate to manage client bookkeeping, tax returns, and reporting duties. The role focuses on accurate, timely financial handling and clear client communication.

You will prep initial reports per PFRS, assess tax implications, and ensure timely BIR filings, with additional SEC/PEZA/BOI submissions as required. The position reports to the Senior Associate and requires a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, accounts receivable/payable, or tax return preparation.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain prompt and effective communication with clients for service-related concerns.
• Manage full bookkeeping: document sorting, vouching, transaction analysis, and data entry.
• Prepare initial reports per PFRS for second-level review and client submission.
• Analyze tax implications and prepare timely tax returns for review.
• Ensure timely filing of returns to the BIR.
• Prepare reports for SEC, PEZA, and/or BOI submissions.
• Escalate significant issues to the supervisor for resolution.
• Report directly to the Senior Associate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Maintain prompt and effective communication with clients, addressing general service-related concerns.
• Manage the full bookkeeping process, including document sorting, vouching, transaction analysis, summarization, and QNE data entry.
• Prepare initial reports in line with PFRS for second-level review and submission to clients, along with other special management reports.
• Analyze tax implications of transactions to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare tax returns promptly for review.
• Timely filing of returns to the BIR.
• Prepare reports for submission to SEC, PEZA, and/or BOI.
• Handle special engagements such as annual tax returns, amendments, prior period filings, and invoice preparation.
• Analyze and improve clients' accounting processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure client tax funding is updated, reconciled, and reported to clients on schedule.
• Escalate significant issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Report directly to the Senior Associate.
