About the role
Senior Accountant responsible for managing full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and maintaining accounting records and controls.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense recording.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and month-end and year-end closing entries.
- Prepare and file applicable BIR tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
- Ensure compliance with PFRS, BIR, SEC, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete accounting records and supporting documents.
- Monitor cash flow, payments, collections, advances, reimbursements, and liquidations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government agencies.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
- At least two to three years of relevant experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and Philippine tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, journal entries, account schedules, and tax returns.
- Experience handling full-cycle accounting or independently managing company accounts is preferred.
- CPA qualification is an advantage but is not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting and filing deadlines.
