Job summary

Far Eastern University (FEU) in Sampaloc, Manila is seeking an Accounting Associate to manage accounts receivable, ensure timely payments, and support financial health. This full-time, on-site role focuses on student refunds, invoices, and account inquiries.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting with 1–3 years' experience, strong spreadsheet skills, and excellent communication. CPA is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1–3 years of experience (not limited to Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable).
• Accounts reconciliation and analysis; spreadsheet proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Certified Public Accountant is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team at Far Eastern University (FEU) in Sampaloc, Manila. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable, ensuring the timely collection of payments and maintaining the financial health of the organization. This is a full-time position, based on-site in Sampaloc, Manila.

What you'll be doing

• Process student refunds

• Post credit memos and other adjustments to students' account balances

• Assist in the preparation of accounting schedules and analysis

• Prepare sales invoice and statements of account

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing their financial inquiries and concerns

• Respond to student account-related inquiries

What we're looking for
