Job summary

Maven Roofing is seeking an Accounting Assistant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, manage and reconcile accounts, and support our financial operations. You will enter data into QuickBooks Online, assist with AP/AR, and aid in reporting and audits.

You will work with a veteran-owned company that serves clients nationwide, emphasizing integrity, quality, and professional growth within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with data entry and account reconciliation.
• Experience working with US clients preferred.
• Familiarity with Bill.com.
• AP/AR experience appreciated.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Accurately enter financial data into QuickBooks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Support financial reporting and audit preparations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed to support the team.
