Job summary

Gensai Career Consulting Corp. seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting department, oversee policy formulation, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will supervise staff performance, coordinate monthly closings, and liaise with external auditors while ensuring regulatory compliance across BIR, SEC, PEZA and related agencies. The role requires a BS-Accountancy, CPA license, and a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity with auditing and payroll processing

Qualifications

• Must have CPA licensure and BS-Accountancy degree.
• At least 3 years of managerial or similar experience.
• Experience in auditing is required.
• Preferably with manufacturing and PEZA processing exposure.
• Payroll processing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounting Department operations and evaluate staff performance.
• Manage accounting policies, procedures and programs.
• Monitor outputs of all staff and enforce compliance with standards.
• Prepare and monitor budget, audits, and reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory agencies (BIR, SEC, PEZA, etc.).
• Supervise Gambit Realty, Inc. books and ensure accurate postings.

• Overall operational management of Accounting Department. Evaluation of staff performance and perform job rotation on a regular basis.
• Manage accounting policies, procedures and programs.
• Monitor, oversee and review outputs of all the staff.
• Formulate, monitor and update Departmental C-format, Expenditure Plan & 3M.
• Review and analyze various audit requirements, monthly reports and schedules.
• Check, verify and post all transactions encoded to SAGE 300 system and conduct revaluation of real accounts affecting foreign exchange for FS preparation.
• Prepare schedules and working files needed for monthly financial closing not limited to Summary of Sales & Purchases, Intercompany Accounts, Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss, Royalty, etc
• Implement and revise, as needed, the Accounting Manual, including analysis of current system in order to recommend and implement the necessary improvements.
• Checking and analysis of Profit & Loss variances (increase/decrease) based on plan.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in the preparation of Budget, Quarterly STRAVIS reports, monthly and annual financial reporting
• Assist the Accounting Manager during the interim and yearend financial audit by external auditors
• Monitor legal compliance with BIR, SEC, PEZA, Binan LGU, SSS, PhilHealth, Pagibig
• Supervise and review work output of Staff assigned to handle the books of Gambit Realty, Inc.
• Responsible to ensure safe working environment in compliance with FCC Safety standards and occupational safety and health standards.
• Conduct other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS-Accountancy, CPA is required
• At least 3 years of experience in managerial or same capacity.
• With experience in auditing
• Preferably with manufacturing and PEZA processing experience.
• Preferably with experience in Payroll processing.

License/Certification:

• CPA licensed (Required)
