Job Summary: RVA Group of Companies is seeking an organized and responsible Accounting Staff / Accounting Assistant to join our team in Makati City. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. We welcome candidates looking to build their career; on-the-job training and support will be provided during the mandatory training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, accounting reports, and audit documentation.
- Data & Records Management: Monitor, maintain, and accurately log accounting records, transactions, and documentation.
- Transaction Processing: Process invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other day-to-day accounting transactions.
- AR/AP Monitoring: Assist in monitoring accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and required data entry tasks.
- Compliance & Support: Coordinate with government compliance requirements when necessary and support management in overall accounting and financial operations.
- Administrative Duties: Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- Certification: Being a CPA Passer is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Having experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing is an advantage. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or traineeship experience are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office applications, and knowledgeable in accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
- Soft Skills: Honest, trustworthy, responsible, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills (English and Filipino) with a team-oriented mindset.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Deployment: Willing to be assigned on-site in Makati City and commit to a minimum 6-month full training period.
