Capgemini is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst II to support complex accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting for a major US insurer client in Mexico. The role emphasizes independent work, project leadership, audit support, and process improvements within finance teams.

The candidate should combine strong accounting fundamentals with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive efficiencies across systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience in accounting and financial reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and control procedures.
• Support IFRS and regulatory reporting activities.
• Prepare internal and regulatory reports and filings.
• Analyze accounting impacts of system changes and process enhancements.
• Develop business requirements and support SAP enhancement initiatives.
• Participate in system testing and validation activities.
• Develop balancing routines and exception reporting processes.
• Support audits and lead ad-hoc initiatives independently.
• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities.
