About the role
To effectively manage and ensure compliance with all BIR and government tax requirements by preparing and filing accurate tax returns, maintaining complete tax records, and monitoring statutory deadlines. The role aims to support the organization through diligent review of financial data, coordination with external auditors and government agencies, and timely processing of payroll and regulatory documents, while providing reliable assistance in finance, audit, and administrative functions as required by management.
Key responsibilities
Prepare BIR Monthly Withholding Tax Expanded, Compensation, Quarterly VAT, Expanded and Quarterly Income Tax Return and other BIR compliance documents
Prepare the Leases Information Statement
Check Sales and Expenses/Purchases in QuickBooks and prepare working files for tax filings
Monitor tax deadlines to ensure on-time submission and payment of all tax obligations
Maintain complete and organized BIR tax compliance and Government mandatories monitoring
Monitor and prepare BIR Form 2307 when needed
Provide documents required by external auditors
Support the External Auditor during annual audit and preparation of Financial Statements
Assist in processing BIR registrations, including Certificate of Registration (COR) and updates to business information
Generate payroll bank file based on approved payroll data from HR and upload in BDO Payroll Online Banking
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
A graduate of Accountancy or a related accounting program is preferred.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, accounting, finance, or audit.
Experience in preparing BIR tax returns and other tax compliance documents is required.
Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
Experience in payroll processing or payroll banking systems is an advantage.
Experience coordinating with external auditors and government agencies is preferred.
