Job summary

Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for a full-time role in Newport City, Pasay City, Metro Manila. You will manage accounts, record transactions, reconcile statements and ensure GAAP compliance to safeguard financial integrity.

You’ll handle payroll, AP/AR, monthly closings, and assist in preparing financial statements while maintaining secure records and collaborating with internal teams for informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions in the accounting system
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts; identify discrepancies
• Prepare and maintain general ledger and trial balances
• Assist in financial statements, reports and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage payroll records and salary processing
• Support tax compliance and documentation
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-endClosing procedures
• Maintain organized and secure financial records
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters
