Job summary

YML Group Outsource Manila Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage monthly closings, payroll processing, and government compliance. The role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of tax rules, and proficiency with Excel, Xero, and payroll software.

Responsibilities include recording transactions, bank reconciliations, asset and prepayment tracking, petty cash, intercompany balances, and preparing BIR filings. A minimum 3 years in local accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
• Min 3 years experience in local tax and accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, and income tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and maintain complete documentation.
• Record transactions, reconcile bank statements, manage expenses and intercompany accounts, and update the general ledger daily.
• Monitor prepayment and fixed asset schedules, ensuring reconciliation with the accounting system.
• Manage petty cash with proper documentation and replenishment.
• Assist HR with payroll processing, including time records, overtime, holiday pay, bonuses, deductions, and compliance with labor laws.
• Post payroll journal entries, allocate costs across departments, and provide detailed reports to division directors.
• Prepare and file BIR requirements (VAT, ITR, Alpha list) and ensure timely compliance.
• Handle government remittances (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) accurately and on schedule.
