Job summary

Connext is seeking an Accountant I to support a US client from the Philippines. The role focuses on timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting with duties spanning reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of accounting experience (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, financial statements, payroll).
• CPA eligibility or active CPA license status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain information, deliverables, and supporting documents for service and compliance tasks.
• Prepare accountant scorecards and status deliverables.
• Verify that balances post accurately to the General Ledger.
• Create financial work papers, adjustment entries, and financial statements.
• Handle reconciliations across accounts (A/R, A/P, inventories, inter-company).
• Prepare reconciliations across multiple WIP and vendor billing for projects.
• Oversee inter-department accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Complete financial packet for month-end and year-end close.
