Job summary

Connext Global Solutions Inc in Angeles, Philippines, is hiring a Senior Accountant 2 to support a United States-based client. You will maintain accurate accounting records, perform month-end close, and prepare P&L and balance sheets.

Responsibilities include recording and reconciling AP/AR, bank and card accounts, reviewing GL entries, and coordinating with management and external accounting teams. Experience with QuickBooks Online and US GAAP is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with month-end closing and preparation/review of financial statements.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting U.S. based companies or U.S. accounting clients.

Responsibilities

• Record, classify, and maintain accurate financial transactions, AP, and AR records.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Review general ledger entries and investigate unusual or incorrect transactions.
• Perform month-end close and prepare P&L, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
• Support financial reporting, analysis, and accounting process improvements.
• Maintain confidential records and coordinate with management and external accounting teams.
