Connext Global Solutions Inc is hiring an Accountant 1 to support our US client from the Philippines. The role covers month-end close, AP/AR, tax filings, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is CPA-eligible with at least one year of accounting experience and strong Excel skills. A stable internet connection and backup plan are required. We offer 25% night differential, attendance and mid-year bonuses, life and HMO insurance, and a great company culture.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA-eligible.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel to produce accounting reports.
• Stable internet connection with a backup plan.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly GET tax returns and maintain WIP schedules and reports.
• Process and reconcile AP, AR, retainage, payroll liabilities, taxes, and related transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit, loan, and note payable accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Record and reconcile deposits, prepaids, inventory, fixed assets, depreciation, and investments.
• Reconcile project cost/billing accounts and union liabilities.
• Perform month-end close, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and review financial packets.
