Job summary

Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an Accountant – General Ledger and Tax to support our Finance team in daily accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role focuses on preparing tax returns (BIR, PEZA, SEC), managing VAT and other taxes, maintaining GL balances, and assisting month-end closing; ensuring internal controls.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accountancy with CPA, at least 3 years tax experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with CPA.
• At least 3 years of tax-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of BIR, PEZA, and SEC regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (BIR, PEZA, SEC) accurately and on time.
• Handle VAT, EWT, income tax, DST, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain GL balances and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist in ad hoc reports and financial analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Handle VAT, EWT, income tax, DST, and regulatory reporting
• Maintain GL balances and perform reconciliations
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

Other Responsibilities

• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Assist in ad hoc reports and financial analysis
• Perform other duties as assigned
