Job summary

GoTeam is seeking an Accountant – Accounting Services to own full-charge bookkeeping for US-based clients from a remote setup in the Philippines, with night shift options. You will handle AP/AR, payroll, and month-end closings using QuickBooks or NetSuite while ensuring US GAAP-compliant, audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years performing full-charge bookkeeping.
• 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily and monthly financial health of multiple US entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records for a diverse client portfolio with US GAAP compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable and optimize cash flow.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure a single source of truth.
• Process payroll using QuickBooks or integrated payroll solutions.
• Manage quarterly and annual tax preparation and reporting.
• Record financing transactions including loans, interest, and asset depreciation.
• Complete monthly close and prepare financial reporting packages.
• Collaborate with clients and US-based controllers to resolve discrepancies and support budgeting.
• Leverage technology and automation to identify trends for planning.

You own the financial integrity and full-charge bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of US-based small to medium businesses. You are not just "balancing books"; you are a technical accounting specialist responsible for managing the entire accounting lifecycle—from AP/AR and payroll to complex month-end closings using QuickBooks or NetSuite. You eliminate financial ambiguity by maintaining rigorous standards in both cash and accrual accounting, serving as a trusted analytical partner for US-based clients.
