Job summary

Axia Link Global Services Inc. seeks an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

You will manage inter-company transactions, consolidation, and FP&A, while strengthening internal controls and risk management. In this role, you will lead budgeting and forecasting, support strategic planning, and collaborate with regional finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA/ACCA or CMA license is a plus.
• 2–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience; 5–10 years in leadership.
• Experience handling multi-entity financials/accounting; NZ-region preferred.
• Proven experience in NZ-region financial auditing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations.
• ERP proficiency (Xero/QuickBooks/SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements per IFRS/GAAP across entities.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Coordinate inter-company transactions and eliminations; consolidation.
• Lead FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis; provide insights.
• Ensure statutory compliance; liaise with auditors and regulators.
• Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital across groups.
• Mentor staff and drive ERP/process improvements; enforce controls.
• Present reports to senior leadership and stakeholders; support decisions.

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial management functions across multiple legal entities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning while supporting strategic decision-making. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, financial analysis capability, and the ability to manage complex inter-company transactions.

Job Details:

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing process for multiple entities.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP)

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.

• Review and approve financial reports, ensuring consistency across entities.

Multi-Entity & Consolidation Management

• Handle inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Maintain consistency in accounting policies across all entities.

• Coordinate with regional or subsidiary finance teams.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Support strategic planning and investment analysis initiatives.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

• Oversee preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit queries.

• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Cash Flow Oversight

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across entities.

• Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.

• Optimize cash management strategies across the group.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Mentor accounting and finance staff.

• Standardize processes and implement best practices across entities.

• Drive automation and system improvements (ERP/accounting systems).

• Ensure proper documentation of accounting policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional team (operations, legal, tax).

• Present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Support business units with financial guidance and decision-making.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• A CPA/ACCA or CMA license is a plus.

• Minimum 2 - 5 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance; with 5-10 years experience in managerial/leadership role.

• Experience in handling multiple entity financials/accounting; preferably in NZ-region.

• Proven experience in Financial Auditing, specifically handling NZ-region clients.

• Strong experience in multi-entity accounting and financial consolidation.

• Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and tax regulation.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advance Excel skills.
