Job summary

SAN MIGUEL GLOBAL POWER HOLDINGS CORP. is seeking an Account Officer responsible for sales and marketing of energy generated by SMGP power plants to utilities and energy clients.

The role develops and implements strategic sales plans, fosters strong customer relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures regulatory compliance. It also supports team efforts in accounts management, business development, travel arrangements and corporate branding events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other related fields
• At least 1 to 2 years of sales & marketing experience preferably in power industries
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare detailed reports
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Preferably can speak and understand Bisaya

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and relationship management
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, proposals and presentations to key stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's client base
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom solutions that meet client needs
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team
