Job summary

BDO Unibank through its BDO Network Bank unit seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets with profitability, credit quality, and strong customer service. The role emphasizes proactive loan origination and relationship-building within the community.

The incumbent will handle microfinance loan accounts, assess applicant qualifications, initiate credit/collection actions, coordinate processing, review loan documents, and drive sales/marketing

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with Word and Excel.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet business needs.
• Analyze overall loan applicant qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and units related to processing and servicing loan applications.
• Review and update customer loan files and agreements to ensure adequacy for credit processing.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro,Smalland Medium Enterprisesis responsible forachieving loan volume targets whilemaintainingprofitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Activelysolicitmicrofinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer

Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications todeterminefeasibility of granting loans

Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts

Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients

Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking

Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course /Bachelor's DegreeHolder

Possesses good selling,communicationand customer service skills.

Musthave basic mathematical knowledge.

Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing& spreadsheets.

With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.

Preferably can drive a motorcycle
