Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while ensuring profitability, sound credit quality, and excellent customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, analyze applicant qualifications, initiate credit activities, coordinate with units, and support loan processing and servicing. This role requires fieldwork and a customer-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Has good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can ride a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets .
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
