Job summary

BDO Unibank—a community bank subsidiary focused on bringing financial products closer to outlying areas—seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The role targets loan volume growth while ensuring profitability, sound credit quality, and strong customer service.

You will solicit microfinance loan accounts, assess applicant qualifications, and coordinate processing with relevant units to ensure timely servicing and credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in any four- or five-year course.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge expected.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Word/Excel).
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Motorcycle driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers/units involved in processing and servicing loans.
• Review loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro,Smalland Medium Enterprisesis responsible forachieving loan volume targets whilemaintainingprofitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Activelysolicitmicrofinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer

Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications todeterminefeasibility of granting loans

Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts

Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients

Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking

Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course /Bachelor's DegreeHolder

Possesses good selling,communicationand customer service skills.

Musthave basic mathematical knowledge.

Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing& spreadsheets.

With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.

Preferably can drive a motorcycle
