Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Account Officer to promote salary loan products to DepEd employees and other accredited institutions. You will guide applicants through the loan process and ensure products meet the clients' needs.

You will build strong client relationships, collaborate with internal teams for smooth loan processing, and actively generate new leads while conducting fieldwork at schools and related offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• Sales experience in selling consumer loan and other bank products.
• At least two years of experience in customer service or financial lending.
• Familiarity with Salary Loan products.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Promote and market salary loan products to employees of DepEd and accredited institutions.
• Generate quality Salary Loan accounts and meet sales quotas for releases and loan portfolio.
• Identify and generate new leads, focusing on eligible clients and institutions for production activities.
• Establish relationships with School Principals, Teachers and Employees.
• Work with collections team to manage delinquent accounts.
• Prepare and submit regular sales calls and reports.
• Cross-sell other bank products.

The Account Officer is responsible for promoting and selling salary loan products to the employees of DepEd and other accredited institutions. This role involves identifying potential loan applicants, guiding them through the application process and ensuring that loan products meet the financial needs of the clients.

The Account Officer must maintain strong relationship with the clients and collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of loans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively promote and market salary loan products, highlighting the benefits of the loan offerings.

Generate quality Salary Loan accounts and ensuring that sales quota is met for releases and loan portfolio.

Identify and generate new leads, focusing on eligible clients, and identify potential institutions and clients that can be tapped for production related activities.

Responsible for establishing relationship with School Principals, Teachers and Employees.

Work with collections team to manage delinquent accounts

Prepare and submit regular sales calls and reports.

Cross-sell other bank products.

Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

With sales experience in selling consumer loan and other bank products

With at least two (2) years of experience in any field such as customer service of any financial or lending institutions.
