Join a technical compliance-focused role where you’ll review installation evidence and supporting documentation, assess air-conditioning, solar PV and battery-related information, verify technical details, identify compliance gaps, and help ensure submissions meet applicable procedures, technical criteria and program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review compliance submissions, installation evidence and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Assess air-conditioning, solar PV and battery-related information against internal procedures, technical criteria and program requirements.
- Verify equipment specifications, model information, system capacity, photographs, certificates and installation records.
- Identify missing, inconsistent or potentially non-compliant information and document required corrective actions.
- Liaise with accredited contractors, installers, assessors and internal stakeholders to obtain clarification or additional evidence.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records, status updates and audit trails in relevant systems.
- Manage assigned workloads while meeting quality, accuracy and turnaround-time expectations.
- Escalate complex technical matters, recurring issues and potential compliance risks.
- Contribute to process improvements, checklists, knowledge resources and quality-assurance activities.
- Keep technical knowledge current through training and updates to relevant standards, requirements and procedures.
Requirements Qualifications
Required
- Technical qualification, technical work experience, or demonstrated aptitude in engineering, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, renewable energy or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies across multiple documents and data points.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, product information, drawings, photographs and installation documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume queue and competing priorities.
- Confidence using web-based systems, spreadsheets, document-management tools and standard office software.
- Consistent, process-focused approach and willingness to follow defined compliance procedures.
Highly Regarded
- Experience with air-conditioning, refrigeration, solar PV, battery energy storage, electrical systems or energy-efficiency programs.
- Engineering, electrical, mechanical, renewable-energy or trade-related qualification.
- Experience in compliance assessment, quality assurance, technical administration, document review or auditing.
- Familiarity with Australian technical standards, product documentation, installation certificates or accredited-contractor environments.
- Experience liaising with installers, technicians, contractors or customers about technical requirements.
