Job summary

Hexaware Technologies Philippines Branch is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide frontline IT assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in desktop or end-user support, with knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Antivirus and Patch Management, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Desktop Support or End User Support.
Experience in End User Support and troubleshooting desktop issues.
Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
Experience with Antivirus and Patch Management.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users.
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices.
Manage user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory.
Support and maintain DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, antivirus solutions, and patch management processes.
Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
