Mace is seeking a Service Lead in Lima, Peru, to provide accountable leadership for ADP mobilisation, directing pre-mobilisation readiness review and engaging with authorities to ensure a safe, efficient launch.

The role integrates programme management, project controls, risk, stakeholder engagement and governance, with senior client interfaces across Mace and ADP, supporting multiple airports and high-value infrastructure.

Formación

• 12+ years in programme, project or construction management within major infrastructure.
• 7+ years in leadership roles with accountability for multidisciplinary teams.
• 5+ years of directly relevant aviation experience, incl. airport development or readiness programmes.
• Experience in live operational airport environments and interfaces between capital works and operations.
• Experience leading mobilisation, governance reviews or programme assurance.
• Experience as primary senior client interface on a significant consultancy or programme-management commission.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary functions such as programme management, controls, risk, stakeholder engagement, safety and operational readiness.
• Fluent / professional in Spanish, with English for multilingual teams.
• Experience across multiple projects, terminals, airports or major workstreams preferred.
• International experience or adapting global delivery practices to local regulatory and operating environments advantageous.
• Experience in Latin America, Peru, airport concessions or regulator engagement advantageous.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related built-environment discipline.
• Recognised programme or project management qualification, or equivalent competence.

Responsabilidades

• Identify changes to scope or resources and manage via the commercial process.

The Project:

The Service Lead will provide accountable leadership for Mace’s initial support to ADP, directing the pre-mobilisation readiness review and ensuring that ADP is prepared to mobilise its first airport delivery team safely, efficiently and with clearly defined governance, controls, responsibilities, approvals and operational interfaces.

The role will act as Mace’s principal point of accountability for the commission, providing strategic direction to the Mace team and maintaining senior relationships with ADP. The postholder will ensure that the programme-management, project-controls, risk, operational-readiness, stakeholder and approvals workstreams are integrated into a coherent and implementable mobilisation solution.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Take overall accountability for the quality, timeliness and successful delivery of the Mace commission.
• Set the direction, priorities and delivery approach for the pre-mobilisation readiness review.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, decision rights and interfaces across the Mace, ADP and wider delivery teams.
• Lead the mobilisation of Mace personnel and any specialist resources brought into the commission on a call-off basis.
• Facilitate effective engagement with relevant authorities and organisations, including MTC, OSITRAN and other permitting or approving bodies, working through ADP’s agreed governance and communication arrangements.
• Present findings, recommendations and decisions clearly to senior client forums.
• Lead the assessment of current governance arrangements and define the governance required for mobilisation and delivery.
• Establish or recommend appropriate decision-making, escalation, assurance and reporting forums.
• Define the interfaces between the Lima-based management and reporting function, ADP leadership and the airport-based project teams.
• Ensure that governance arrangements are proportionate, practical and capable of scaling as additional airports enter delivery.
• Challenge gaps, conflicts, duplicated responsibilities and unresolved interfaces.
• Lead internal Mace reviews of the commission’s principal deliverables before submission to ADP.
• Ensure the review identifies actions that must be completed, accepted or under active management before the airport project team is mobilised.
• Manage the commission against the agreed scope, fee, programme and resource plan.
• Monitor deployment, utilisation and performance of the Mace team.
• Identify changes to scope or resource requirements and manage these through the agreed commercial process.

You’ll Need To Have

• Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience in programme, project or construction management within major infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Minimum 7 years in leadership roles with accountability for multidisciplinary programme or project teams.
• Minimum 5 years of directly relevant aviation experience, including work on airport development, expansion, rehabilitation or operational-readiness programmes.
• Demonstrable experience in a live operational airport environment, including management of interfaces between capital works and airport operations.
• Experience leading programme mobilisation, delivery-model establishment, governance reviews or programme assurance.
• Experience acting as the primary senior client interface on a significant consultancy or programme-management commission.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary functions such as programme management, controls, commercial management, design, risk, stakeholder engagement, safety and operational readiness.
• e.g. Fluent / professional in Spanish, with English appropriate for working with multilingual teams
• Experience working across multiple projects, terminals, airports or major workstreams would be strongly preferred.
• International experience or experience adapting global delivery practices to local regulatory and operating environments would be advantageous.
• Experience in Latin America, Peru, airport concessions or engagement with transport regulators would be advantageous.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, architecture, quantity surveying or another relevant built-environment discipline.
• Recognised programme or project management qualification, or equivalent demonstrable professional competence.
