Aecon Concessions is seeking an Airport Project Manager to lead strategic airport infrastructure projects across Latin America, from bidding and proposal development through to leadership and successful execution of awarded projects.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and project controls, with a strong focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance in highly regulated environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Postgraduate studies or specialization in PM, Construction, Infrastructure preferred.
• Project Management certifications are an asset.

At Aecon, we are seeking an Airport Project Manager to lead the development of strategic airport infrastructure projects across Latin America. This role will play a key part from the bidding and proposal development stages through to the overall leadership and execution of awarded projects.

We are looking for a proven leader with extensive experience in airport infrastructure, capable of integrating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead bid processes, proposal development, and execution strategies for airport infrastructure projects.
• Direct the planning and end-to-end execution of airport infrastructure projects, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls.
• Coordinate with clients, airport operators, regulatory authorities, and other key project stakeholders.
• Oversee project risks, contractual matters, and commercial performance.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Postgraduate studies or specialization in Project Management, Construction, Infrastructure, or a related discipline are preferred.
• Project Management certifications are considered an asset.

Experience

• 15 to 20 years of experience leading large-scale, complex infrastructure and construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major airport infrastructure projects (required).
• Experience serving in leadership roles within large EPC projects (USD 200M+).
• Hands‑on experience with both airside and landside airport infrastructure, including runways, aprons, taxiways, terminals, and supporting facilities.
• Experience supporting bids, technical proposals, and execution planning for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing projects under EPC, Design-Build, or Concession delivery models.
• Experience working across Latin America and in highly regulated environments with multiple stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge

• End-to-end management of airport infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of IATA and ICAO standards and regulations.
• Airside and landside airport construction.
• Project planning, constructability reviews, and construction sequencing.
• Contractual, commercial, and financial project management.
• Airport regulations and coordination with regulatory authorities.
